Quilo QP114WK Review.
If central HVAC cooling isn’t an option, a portable air conditioners might be the next best thing.
In the last few years, prices on portable ACs have dropped. They’re just as powerful as a window unit and much cheaper than a full HVAC system.
Portable AC Units are super durable for multiple summers!
As a high powered unit, the Quilo 14000 BTU is one of the most popular.
It’s excellent for cooling large spaces and includes the newest features.
Quilo QP114WK Air Conditioner Review:
The Quilo AC runs more efficiently compared to similar units.
Compared to similar units it’s very high-powered — it’s able to cool rooms up to 700 sq. ft. quickly.
They offer 2 smaller sizes if the 14000 is too big.
FYI: not all sites have the correct specs so I used Quilo’s website as the primary source.
Quilo 14000 BTU Air Conditioner Review:
Buyers say it’s very fast at cooling large rooms.
Capacity: 550 – 700 sq. ft.
Another benefit is the built-in dehumidifier which removes up to 80 pints of moisture per 24-hrs. Great for anyone living near water, where humidity levels can rise quickly.
Quilo also includes a 24-hour on/off timer, which monitors the temperature + controls it while you are away.
Schedule it to start before you get home from work, or when you plan on leaving the house!
It includes a remote control too — ideal for bedroom air conditioning.
The Quilo remote lets you set/change the room temperature or speed settings. You can also activate the dehumidifier or fan.
As a bedroom portable AC it’s very quiet at 45 decibels.
Cooling Power: 14,000 BTU
Noise Level (dBA): ≤ 45 decibels
Installing the Quilo 14000 BTU is fairly simple.
It comes 95% preassembled and buyers confirm that it doesn’t require any special tools.
Install: 10-15 mins
You will however, need a window that’s at least 46-inches across to fit the hose.

What Buyers Think:
Quilo has lots of positive buyer reviews and was a top seller in 2018.
Buyers really love the remote control function — most portable air conditioners have it, but not w/ all the functions (i.e. the dehumidifier and exact temp control)
Quilo Portable AC Review:
Overall, the Quilo portable air conditioners are a solid purchase.
Personally I think you can get a better model if buying the 10,000 or 12,000 BTU unit — but for cooling larger rooms up to 700 sq. ft., I think it’s the best option available.
** For a smaller AC, check out the Honeywell Compact AC >>
Compared to similar 14000 BTU units, the Quilo QP114WK air conditioner is fairly affordable. Paired w/ the high-end dehumidifier, I consider it a good value purchase as well.
Buyers say it’s a dependable air conditioning unit that’s perfect during peak summer months.
